The Polish Ministry of Culture has chosen receipients of its yearly grants. Among them is a grant to support Piotr Malecki's new project in-the-making, a documentary film about Polish community in the UK.
This film has also been nominated for a Silver Eye Award at East Silver marketplace in Jihlava, Czech Republic
"RECYCLING OF SOULS" has been selected to screen as part of the 2013 L.E.S. Film Festival in New York.
The L.E.S* Film Festival runs June 13th – 23rd at Sunshine Cinema, Anthology Film Archives, Crosby Street Hotel, and other Lower East Side Venues.

As a toddler, Philly Mayer was healthy and happy. A chubby baby, he was quick to laugh and eager to get up on his own feet.
And then, before his first birthday, Philly suddenly stopped walking. His motor skills began to deteriorate.
After a slew of tests and endless emotional upheaval, doctors diagnosed Philly with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a genetic disease that occurs in an estimated 1 out of every 6,000 births and leaves the spine underdeveloped. His parents were told that he would not live past seven.

As a toddler, Philly Mayer was healthy and happy. A chubby baby, he was quick to laugh and eager to get up on his own feet.
And then, before his first birthday, Philly suddenly stopped walking. His motor skills began to deteriorate.
After a slew of tests and endless emotional upheaval, doctors diagnosed Philly with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a genetic disease that occurs in an estimated 1 out of every 6,000 births and leaves the spine underdeveloped. His parents were told that he would not live past seven.
